“ESPAÑOLA” 

 I created her in honor of the first female immigrants to La Florida. 

They came from the Old World to the City of St. Augustine, Florida, where I currently live and work in my art studio on the San Sebastian River. The woman, flirting behind a stylized fan is carved out of black walnut, aged for over 30 years. While working on this piece, I enjoyed the amazing aroma released into the shop. Cedar display base.
